Can I return my item if it is no longer required?

We can accept items for return and credit in the following circumstances:

  • The items have not been fitted to any part the vehicle and no visible marks exist (that were not already present).

  • The packaging of the item is undamaged and is in a resalable condition with no grease marks or writing on it.

  • The item being returned is within an acceptable timeframe to our supplier.

  • No sealed packaging is opened for electrical items.

  • The item being returned was supplied by us in error i.e. incorrect brand, part number, size, colour, quality or quantity.

  • The item being returned was genuinely ordered by mistake or it was realised after ordering a different brand or quality was required.

  • The item was supplied by us later than the original required by date of the customer.

  • If the item is below the required quality requested on initial ordering.

  • If the item develops a fault and is within the part, consumable or tyre manufacturer's warranty period.

Who assumes responsibility if the part causes an accident or damage to the vehicle?

We assume that the person fitting any items that we supply is competant to do so and we will not accept responsibility for any accidents or damage to a vehicle due to incorrect fitting.

If the accident or damage is a direct result of the part itself and no the way in which it was fitted, we will need to investigate further and liaise with our supplier and/or the part manufacturer for resolution.

Who pays for return postage?

The customer will be responsible for covering the cost of returns unless it is a faulty item being returned within the warranty timeframe.

Who provides the warranty?

The part manufacturer. We submit a claim and the faulty part to our supplier in order to gain a credit and in most cases, we can provide another part to replace it. Please note that warranty timeframes/mileage restrictions vary between manufacturers and we will not replace items outside of these restrictions even if a fault has developed.

For tyres, most manufacturers only offer a 'manufacturing defect' warranty and the tyre will have to be submitted to them for analysis before any credit can be given by us.
